Meet Joanna Lippold

Joanna’s passion is to help you step into leadership and own your story.

After studying drama and performance art, she returned to her hometown of London and launched her career with six years in PR, sharpening her skills in communication and storytelling. But adventure was calling and had reached a point of wondering ‘Is this all there is?’

Trusting her instincts, she made the bold decision to move to Melbourne in the summer of 2012, a leap that would redefine her path and spark her evolution into a true leader. Since then, Joanna has built a career that’s as dynamic as it is inspiring. She’s led teams in restaurants, certified as a coach to guide others toward success, and volunteered at festivals celebrating compassion, kindness, and transformative ideas. She’s managed communications for a vegan chocolate company, run an organic skincare shop, and even returned to her acting roots with a renewed sense of purpose.

Along the way, she deepened her leadership skills as a mindfulness practitioner and yoga teacher, combining insight, resilience, and empathy to inspire those around her. Her proudest leadership moment came when she became the first and only woman on the Executive Team of a major hospitality group. As Head of Phenomenal Teams, Joanna redefined what leadership looks like, creating a groundbreaking leadership pathway and pioneering team development and performance training. Her approach empowered others to rise to their full potential and embrace their own leadership styles in their careers.

Joanna believes that leadership isn’t about following a linear path; it’s about courage, adaptability, and embracing your unique strengths. Her “patchwork” career across industries has given her unparalleled insight into how to level up, take charge, and lead with authenticity. Today, she’s on a mission to help others step into their own unique energy and create careers that feel as fulfilling as they are impactful.

Everything Joanna does is infused with a contagious sense of optimism, humour, and truth. She’s here to show the world that the best leaders are the ones who own their story, and inspire others to do the same.
